OUR STORY

From a student's dream to a growing group of companies

In 2017, while still in school, Mr. Ssemuko Nicholas started a small creative venture he called Finix Studio. What began as a passion for solving people's problems through technology and creativity quickly turned into something much bigger.

As he grew his skills in IT, design, VFX, music, film, and AI he realised each discipline deserved its own identity. In 2019, he unified everything under Big Finix Company, a parent group designed to house every new idea and brand he would build.

Today, Big Finix Company operates across technology, creative production, music, and visual effects with more to come. Every brand under the group shares one purpose: to deliver world-class work from right here in Uganda.

A Timeline of Growth

Finix Studio is born

Nicholas starts a creative venture while still in school offering photography, design, and IT services to friends and local businesses.
2017

Big Finix Company is established

The parent brand is officially formed, bringing IT solutions, creative services, and new ventures under one unified group.
2019

Big Finix Records & Studios launch

The creative arm expands with Big Finix Studios handling film, events and branding & Big Finix Records launching as an in-house music label.
2021

BF VFX House — Uganda's first VFX studio

Big Finix enters the world of visual effects, becoming the first dedicated VFX production house in Uganda.
